Gender inequity in education takes many forms subject to the context of consideration. Although gender inequalities affect boys, girls, men and women alike, but girls and women often more disadvantaged.

Early marriage, teen pregnancy, violence against women and girls, poverty, cultural stereotypes, geographical remoteness, minority status, disability, are majorly the obstacles that limits women and girls ability to access, complete and benefit from Education.
